DL 100 F data logger
Data loggers come in all shapes and sizes. They have a a variety different functions and a diversity of features. But they also have one thing in common: their ability to measure and log information that can be of imminent importance to their user.
Such users are often homeowners or landlords who sublet or lease their property with the best of intentions and who only wish to ensure that all is done by the tenants to ensure that the value of their assets does not shrivel up because of poor maintenance or inadequate or improper heating and ventilation. Such conditions are especially favourable for the formation of mould which once detected can prove to be the start of endless trouble and grief for all those involved.
The DL 100 F is another in the line of compact, displayless data loggers from Trotec that is designed to do such a job reliably and discreetly. The DL 100 F can be placed in virtually any room where values like air temperature and relative humidity are needed often over a longer period to allow the logger’s user to obtain all the information he or she needs to reach a watertight conclusion.
But because the DL 100 F is a quad-channel data logger with an optionally available selection of extremely useful and accurate sensors and electrodes which can either be attached to the device’s 3.5mm jacks or BNC connector it is also excellently-suited for use in countless sectors in trade and industry where it is used to measure the air temperature as well as the temperature of different surfaces, liquids and bulk materials.
Measuring channel 1: internal sensor for recording air temperature
Measuring channel 2: internal sensor for recording relative humidity; capacitive
Measuring channel 3: for measuring moisture in wood, different materials as well as building materials according to the resistance principle by connecting an external electrode
Measuring channel 4: for measuring air and surface temperature and the temperature of liquids and bulk materials by means of an external sensor.Each of these measuring channels is able to save 60,000 individual values which can be transferred to your PC via the USB type B cable included in the scope of delivery. That’s an awful lot of information.
The DL 100 F is furthermore equipped with a well- concealed on/off button and two LEDs which show both the operation and alarm status.
