The chances are you may never have even noticed that somebody you know has got a data logger. That’s the whole point of such a measuring device.
Ultracompact data loggers like the DL 100 C are designed to measure indoor climate, collect data on air temperature and humidity and log this information so that it can be processed for later use – and they are also designed to do so as inconspicuously as possible.
Home owners, landlords or property managers often wish to protect their interests by installing a data logger in a flat or apartment to ensure that their tenants are treating their property with the respect it deserves and not, for example, allowing climate conditions to deteriorate to such an extent that mould starts to form or dampness sets in.

The DL 100 C is an extremely versatile, twin-channel data logger with a USB type B interface, two LEDs – one to show that the logger is working and one for the alarm – and a hidden on/off button to prevent anyone from tampering with the device.
And because the DL 100 C is so versatile it is can be used in an endless number of situations and scenarios: the DL 100 C can not only monitor but also warn when the temperature or relative humidity in archives, museums or exhibitions exceeds or drops below certain thresholds. Without such a monitoring and warning device collectors, curators or exhibitors run a high risk of losing or damaging prized possessions or extremely valuable property. By closely monitoring the data the DL 100 C provides, specialists in a variety of branches of industry can also ensure that the right climate conditions prevail for the processing or storage environment in which they are installed. There is literally no end to the variety and range of possibilities.
The DL 100 C’s two channels measure air temperature and relative humidity respectively. Each of the channels is equipped with a separate alarm function and an internal memory that can save up to 60,000 individual readings.
Now that’s quite a big number for such a small logger.
