IDS 20 indirect fired oil heater
There are times – in deep winter or on cold spring mornings or in cool autumn evenings – when you need a powerful heater and you need it quick. Quick, yes – but not that quick that you would be prepared to compromise on either safety or quality. The IDS 20 indirect fired warm air heater is an extremely robust autonomous heating system designed to meet the demand for safe, mobile heating units that can be installed quickly and easily where you need them when you need them.
The IDS 20 comes in a strikingly yellow straightforward design which smacks of quality and a high degree of reliability: there’s the integrated oil burner with superior Danfoss® pump, the double-walled housing which not only acts as an effective sound but also heat insulation and there’s the stainless furnace chamber that guarantees a long product lifespan.
And you need only look at the long list of impressive features to realize how much emphasis has been put on safety. Not only is the IDS 20 equipped with an electronic flame safeguard and a safety thermostat for overheat protection, it also has a fully automatic aftercooling function and an integrated fuel tank which means that you don’t have to feed the heater with diesel from bulky jerry cans or external tanks which are always potentially a hazard especially if they are not properly attended to.
Because they have been designed for use on sprawling building sites and in large cowsheds, greenhouses, warehouses, garages and workshops, the IDS 20 S heaters are also equipped with a sturdy undercarriage for increased manoeuvrability and extra-large wheels which allow you to move them across bumpy ground and uneven terrain before they once again take on their task of circulating and heating as much 550 m³ ( 19,423 ft³) of ambient air in only one single hour.
