The B 500 is a modern-day humidifier which works according to the evaporation principle. That’s the good part. It means that you won’t have to worry about unsightly milky white limescale deposits on your furniture, or little pools of condensate on your floor, or oversaturated room air that reminds you of the tropics.
Then there’s the other good part: the B500 is so silent that you will sometimes have trouble convincing yourself that it is really running. The fully automatic four-stage radial fan is not only highly efficient but also extremely quiet. And versatile, because you can adjust it manually to suit your needs too!
The B500 is additionally equipped with a built-in, calibrated hygrostat which regulates the moisture content in the air – so it can’t be that – and it can’t be the infrared remote control either, because that gives you peace of mind knowing that no unauthorized users can change the humidifier settings or tamper with the controls! So where’s the bad part? Well, you haven’t got one yet.
Increased safety through self-diagnosis system ...
Not only does the B500 have a clearly-arranged control panel and a well-structured user-guided menu to inform you of settings like water level, fan stage and relative humidity, it also has a self-diagnosis system with coded error warnings and an alarm relay designed to pass on the information to an external or central alarm system if you so wish. And just in case you thought that was everything, it warns you when the filter needs changing too!When you buy a B500 you’re buying more than just a state-of-art humidifier, you’re also buying the latest in hygiene technology – a highly effective filter system which cleans the air you live and breathe in and gets rid of dust and other airborne particles which can detrimentally affect your health while at the same time preventing the formation of electromagnetic charges. Wireless sensor measurements up to a distance of 30m
The B500’s wireless radio sensor system is designed to provide you with even more accurate and stable measuring results. Just pop in the batteries and place the sensor somewhere suitably within the measuring area¹ – on a wall or a ceiling, for example – and lean back and let the sensor do the rest. What the sensor then does is measure and monitor the relative humidity at regular intervals and control the humidifier over a distance of up to 30 metres. And should you hear a sound, there’s no need to worry – it’s probably only the acoustic alarm warning you that the batteries are low.
