  Designed to measure temperatures between -40 °C and +250 °C, the BT20 contact thermometer is ideal for not only measuring the temperature of your favourite Sunday roast but also a variety of different applications in the catering trade, laboratories, trade and industry as well as professional and hobby kitchens.

  The BT20 is equipped with a long, thin stainless steel needle which can be easily inserted into a side of meat or a poultry or egg dish to measure the core temperature and ensure that the roast is done or the dish is safe to eat. The BT20 cooking thermometer has a food safe, splashproof plastic casing that not only gives you a firm grip but also protects the BT20 against contamination and makes it especially easy to clean.

  Because the BT20 is so hygienic to use and because it has an especially short reaction time of only 2 seconds it is excellently-suited for inspections in the food processing industry and for food inspectors who appreciate an easy and efficient means to determine the core temperature of different foods in conformity with HACCP requirements.
